The search forms on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party search provider that returns the results. We do not retain copies of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to respond.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to keep the site working and understand which Clovis records pages visitors use. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by the City of Clovis, Fresno County, Fresno Superior Court, or California agencies are outside our control; requests to inspect or obtain those records generally follow the California Public Records Act, Government Code Section 7920.000 et seq., while corrections or removals must go to the custodian office. Voter information has separate confidentiality rules, including Elections Code Sections 2166, 2166.5, 2166.7, 2166.8, and 2166.9, Elections Code Section 2194(b) limits on driver license, identification, Social Security, unique identifier, and signature fields, and California Safe at Home protections.
